This concept for this showroom is called Chinoiserie which was popularized in Europe in the 17th & 18th centuries when China was seen as a mysterious far-away place. The Chinoiserie concept employs a lot Chinese influence to the design while maintaining some of its western core characteristics. It is the Western interpretation of our Chinese artistic vision. Objects such as exotic potteries, Chinese Armoire, antiques and wallpapers with images of exotic landscapes, pavilions, mystical animals such dragons, phoenix and fabulous birds are employed. Our work included the build-up of the mockup unit from scratch with gypsum board partition followed by ID Consultancy and decoration works.
